Swel-Lock is unsurpassed for tightening loose chair rungs, dowel and mortise joints, hammer and axe handles, wooden handled chisels and other types of socket joints when one member is wooden. DIRECTIONS: Apply Swel-Lock to the wooden portion of the part to be tightened. Then press lightly together. Allow 1-2 hours before subjecting to use. Very loose joints may require gluing. Swel-Lock is not a glue or adhesive. It will actually swell the wood.
